  • Click Menu option at top right hand corner.
  • Click on the option of Advanced users.
  • Click restart.
If your magic jack is plugged into your router or modem, then unplug it from power source, then wait for 30 seconds, and plug it back again. If that doesn’t work, restart your magic jack by following these steps:
  • Go to control Panel on your computer.
  • Now go to Network connection option.
  • Right click on your network connection which is active.
  • Now select the option of Properties.
  • Scroll down to Internet Protocol(TCP/IP).
  • Now click on properties option again.
  • There check on the little circle that says that use the following DNS Server address.
  • In Preferred DNS Server type in: 67.90.152.122.
  • In Alternate DNS Server type in: 67.107.71.186.
  • Click Ok and then again on OK.

Error Broken Storage

If the error of broken storage in your magic jack, then follow these steps for its quick fixing:
  • Firstly, unplug your Magicjack.
  • Hold down the Shift key and plug your magic jack into your computer with the Shift key pressed. This will prevent magic jack from autorunning.
  • Click on the option of Start.
  • Go to the option of My Computer.
  • Now try to locate the drive named Vista Only, Phone, or Removable Disc. But you need to make sure that is in the magic jack drive.
  • Right click on that drive after locating it.
  • Tap the option of Format.
  • After that tap the option of Start.
  • After doing this unplug your magic jack.
  • Wait for 30 seconds before plugging your magic jack again.
  • After 30 seconds, plug your magic jack again into your USB port.
